Description:

PhonePe, one of India’s largest digital payment platforms with over 600 million users and 330+ million daily transactions, is hiring a Finance Analyst for its General Ledger team. This role focuses on finbank-related activities, bank reconciliations, accounting processes, and financial reporting.

You will work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure accurate month-end closing, prepare financial statements, review reports, and handle customer/merchant refund transactions. The role requires strong accounting skills, familiarity with IFRS and basic understanding of US GAAP, and an ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage finbank activities, including bank account reconciliations.
• Raise reconciliation issues with relevant teams and ensure timely closure.
• Prepare manual transfer orders (TOA) for refunds on failed transactions.
• Month-close monitoring and reporting.
• Prepare and review financial statements and group reports.
• Apply IFRS expertise; basic US GAAP knowledge preferred.

Requirements:

• Chartered Accountant qualification (CA).
• Internship or experience in Big 4 audit firms preferred.
